Welcome back! It is already 2010, seems like this season just got started! I want to welcome you back to dance as well as welcome the new students! We look forward to a great semester of dance. This semester is especially fun because it will soon be time for the classes to begin their recital dances. The costumes will be posted  on the studio doors soon, look for them! Cinderella Auditions are this Saturday!

If you love to sing, dance and act you  might consider trying out for the Spring Recital Production of  a modern day “Cinderella!” Many classes will participate in Cinderella but we are also looking for the lead cast; Cinderella, Stepmother, Three stepsisters and more! If you are ages 6-18, you are eligible to audition. Rehearsals will begin in March and will be held on Saturday’s. A full list of details with dates/rehearsals will be available at the audition. Please wear appropriate dance attire with jazz shoes if you have them and your hair pulled back away from your face.

Where: STDC

When: 1pm. Auditions are expected to last 1-1.5 hours.

Flamenco Master Class

Any teen dancer is welcome to attend the Flamenco class (required for Co Jazz) on Tuesday, January 26th from 7-8:30. It is free of charge. Please bring a long flowing skirt if you have one and   Heels (ballroom shoes) if you have them or character shoes.

March 15-20 Spring Break

May 14-16 Spring Recitals (schedule will be available in March) We understand that many of  you have several dances etc. we will try to put your dances in the  same recital but it is impossible to accommodate every situation. Thank  you for your understanding!
